Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Nhuga collects when you use our platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. Depending on how you use the platform, this may include: information you choose to provide (such as an email address if you contact us), and standard technical data your browser sends automatically (such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed).
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the platform and its research features;
- Understand aggregate usage so we can prioritise what to build;
- Respond to your enquiries; and
- Keep the platform secure and detect abuse.
Analytics and cookies
Required. We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your settings (theme and layout preferences, and your cookie choice). The site cannot work without them.
Cookieless visit counting. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count page views and see which pages are useful. It sets no cookies and does not collect personal identifiers or track you across websites, so it runs regardless of your cookie choice.
Analytics (optional). If you choose “Accept all”, we also load Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic and see which pages are useful. If you choose “Only required”, no analytics scripts are loaded. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your personal information.
Third-party data
Market data displayed on the platform is obtained from third-party and public NEPSE sources. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Data retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described here and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
